Shining Lights Early Childhood Center has been serving families in Cherry Hill, NJ, since 1998. As a ministry of Bethel Baptist Church, we are dedicated to providing families of all backgrounds with high-quality, affordable daycare and preschool. Our goal is to offer a child-focused program with a loving, nurturing environment where every child can learn, grow, and shine.
Located at 1720 Springdale Road in the Bethel Baptist Family Life Center, our center was designed specifically for young children. Classrooms are bright, spacious, and inviting, providing the perfect space for your child to explore and learn. Every child is treated as an individual, and our small class sizes ensure personalized attention and meaningful learning experiences.
All of our teachers and aides are members of local Bible-believing churches and actively involved in ministry. They meet or exceed state standards for daycare programs and bring passion, experience, and care to every classroom. Our staff is also trained in childcare, CPR, and first aid to ensure your child is safe at all times.

We are fully licensed by the State of New Jersey Division of Children and Families to serve children from 6 weeks through school-age. Our programs are also accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), ensuring a higher quality standard for your child’s daycare experience. Our classrooms maintain an overall 1-to-8 teacher-to-child ratio, and our largest classes never exceed 15 children. Children in our infant and toddler, and preschool programs, preschool daycare, and full-time daycare programs receive the attention and support they need to thrive. Teacher turnover is very low, and our families enjoy continuity and trust with familiar faces.
Parents can feel confident that their child will be cared for, supported, and encouraged every day. We communicate through daily reports, newsletters, and conferences, and we invite families to participate in field trips, special programs, and events.
